MIDDLE SCHOOL
Where Exploration Deepens
Liberty Launch Academy's middle school is designed to help students grow academically while exploring who they are and what they enjoy learning about. Our program combines standards aligned academics with project based learning, real world problem solving, and guided exploration of fields such as business, athletics, Hospitality / Culinary arts, music, and the arts.
Mornings focus on building strong foundations in core academic subjects through engaging lessons supported by modern learning technologies and AI assisted instruction. Afternoons shift toward hands on projects, collaborative challenges, and exploratory experiences that allow students to apply what they learn in meaningful ways.
Rather than focusing solely on traditional classroom instruction, our middle school emphasizes creativity, experimentation, and curiosity. Students learn how to think critically, work with others, and take ownership of their learning. These are the skills that prepare them to thrive in the more specialized opportunities offered in our high school program.
Vision Statement
We aim to help young adolescents become curious, confident learners by combining strong academic foundations with creativity, exploration, and real world problem solving.
Next Level Learning
education goes beyond the standard academic curriculum to prepare students for real life. While we build a strong foundation in core subjects, we also emphasize practical life skills like communication, problem-solving, time management, and collaboration. Students gain hands-on experiences that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and personal responsibility. The goal is to develop well-rounded individuals who are not only academically capable, but also confident, adaptable, and ready to navigate the world beyond the classroom.
Academics
Our morning academic sessions focus on building strong foundations in math, science, language arts, and history using innovative digital tools, AI supported instruction, and Guide led learning experiences.
Lessons are designed to adapt to individual learning levels, allowing students to move at an appropriate pace while receiving support from on site educators. AI assisted platforms help personalize instruction, reinforce concepts, and provide targeted practice when students need it.
Academic learning is frequently connected to projects and real world applications. Students might apply math skills while designing a small business budget, explore scientific concepts through engineering challenges, or strengthen writing skills while creating presentations or multimedia storytelling projects.
Life Skills
Students explore organization, goal setting, communication, teamwork, digital responsibility, and basic financial literacy. Lessons often connect directly to project based experiences so students can practice these skills in meaningful ways. For example, students may learn budgeting by planning a group event, practice collaboration while managing a team project, or develop communication skills through presentations and creative storytelling. These experiences help bridge the gap between theory and real-world application, giving students confidence in their abilities. Over time, they learn to take initiative, adapt to challenges, and think independently. This approach not only reinforces academic learning, but also prepares students to navigate everyday responsibilities with clarity and purpose.
Learning Experiences
Learning experiences in middle school focus on exploration and discovery. Students are introduced to a variety of potential pathways including entrepreneurship, athletics, Hospitality / Culinary arts, music, and the arts, through hands on projects and collaborative challenges. Rather than specializing early, students are encouraged to try many different experiences. They might design and market a small product, produce a short media project, create a Hospitality / Culinary recipe, or participate in design challenges that integrate science, technology, and creativity.
By the end of middle school, students will have explored a wide range of fields, built strong collaborative and problem solving skills, and developed the confidence to
